See us in action!
Pop Chorus was never intended to be a ‘performance’ choir, preferring to focus on the experience of weekly group singing sessions and gently building experience, confidence and repertoire. Inevitably though, we often get asked to perform at local events. Participation isn’t compulsory for members, but many enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to show off what they’ve been up to, and even some of the shyest and most reticent of members have been surprised to find how much they enjoy singing with their friends in front of warm and receptive local audiences! We’ve also taken to putting on some bigger concerts, which give singers from across all the choirs the opportunity to come together and present an evening of the songs that we’ve been working on and polished to a really high standard.
